eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Software Engineer in San Jose, CA
Job Duties: Work on building and improving Checkout and Shopping Cart APIs. Own the entire lifecycle of the software deliverables being worked on - from designing to coding to testing to release to monitoring. Suggest and drive software development initiatives. Collaborate with talented and proficient peers to design solutions using strong background in scalable distributed systems. Solve complex technical challenges of scale and performance. Work in an agile environment with a focus on problem solving and engineering excellence. Evaluate the existing architecture, technical landscape and bring innovations to the table that emphasizes security, resilience and extensibility while being compatible with existing architecture.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a software engineer, or a related occupation.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
