CNC Programmer

SUMMARY: This CNC Programmer position is responsible for programming multi-axis CNC mill-turn lathes and CNC mills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Develop and maintain new CNC programs.
2. Optimize current CNC programs using the latest cutting tools and techniques.
3. Maintain program library.
4. Select cutting tools, work holding tools and fixtures for new parts.
5. Create standardized, detailed tool sheets.
6. Provide support and resolve technical and program issues.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. 5+ years’ experience programming multi-axis mill-turn lathes.
3. Must be able to read and interpret drawings and models with proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be very detail-oriented, organized, have good communication skills, and be a team player.
2. Must be able to work quickly and accurately with little supervision.
3. Must be hands-on and willing to work on the shop floor proving out programs and troubleshooting issues on the machines.

Salary starting at $85,000 per year.
