ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Foster an engineering culture focused on creativity, quality, and accountability in planning and delivering customer valued features and experiences.
2. Work with stakeholders ensuring short- and long-term goals are understood by individual contributors.
3. Communicate and assist platform teams in planning and delivering required upstream and downstream integrations from the commerce platform.
4. Manage direct reports through coaching, mentoring, and inspiration through strong leadership.
5. Build and maintain a production support team structure and processes.
6. Run and manage cloud infrastructure partnering with DevOps team.
7. Take ownership of vendor partner relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 12+ years in the software engineering industry.
2. 8+ years managing direct reports performance reviews and career development.
3. 8+ years experience building and/or leading multi-channel eCommerce applications.
4. 8+ years experience leveraging agile development methodology.

DESIRABLE:

1. 3+ years experience developing and running an SAP Commerce/Hybris implementation.
2. Bachelor's degree in IT related majors or concentrations.

COMPETENCIES:

1. Experience with multiple software languages: Java, Go, Python, Javascript, Typescript.
2. Fluid yet direct verbal and written communication skills.
3. Thorough experiences in building B2B commerce experiences.
4. Intimate knowledge surrounding manual and automation Quality testing.
5. Ably navigate priorities with strong project management skills.
6. Working experiences with running containerized applications within multiple cloud providers.
7. Demonstrated ability for building observability and monitoring into application team's skill set.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:

1. Demonstrated experience engineering and/or managing an engineering team responsible for an ecommerce product.
