Description:
Senior Capacity and Availability Engineer
To support ongoing availability and capacity planning efforts for monthly reporting for availability and capacity, production support for performance troubleshooting, and capacity analyses for production systems and recently deployed applications.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in performance/capacity management including the development of monthly management reports, forecasting and trending of resource usage, and correlation with KVIs, as well as service level reporting for availability and response time.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong SQL skills to select, manipulate, and summarize metrics captured from various databases
- Extensive knowledge of Excel
- Experience with PIVOT tables
- Excellent working knowledge of Teamquest and/or BMC
