Sr. Software Developer

New Value Solutions, an IT consulting company with Head Office at Vancouver, CA is seeking a Developer of Information Technology (Sr. Software Developer) to help our client provide strategic leadership and support in developing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications and systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom applications using .NET and related technologies.
• Enhance and maintain existing systems to improve performance and functionality.
• Implement and manage integrations between internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and solutions.
• Adhere to industry best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
• Develop front-end applications using JavaScript, Angular, CSS, and HTML.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for task management, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 customizations and solutions.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance.
• Implement authentication and security protocols, including SSO and SSL.
• Plan and execute routine application updates and enhancements.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure software quality and functionality.
• Document coding practices, system architecture, and integration processes.
• Maintain and optimize SQL databases and data storage solutions.
• Analyze system performance and develop strategies for improvement.
• Respond quickly to technical issues and provide effective resolutions.
• Support and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, translating technical information into clear, actionable insights.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Software Development Experience developing applications using C# in .NET
• Exception knowledge and experience with .NET Web API, MVC, Entity Framework
• Good experience and exposure in front-end development using Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Exceptional experience with Azure Analysis Services, Azure DevOps, Sprints/Task Boards, Pipelines/Deployment
• Experience with SharePoint Online
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience & Knowledge of Dynamics CRM Implementation, Customization, and Solution Deployment
• Hands-On Experience working on Active Directory, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Blob Storage
• Experience monitoring and responding to events in Cloud based network/architecture
• Experience with OneLogin (SSO)
• Experience with renewing SSL Certificates
• Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack
