The developer understands current technologies deployed and understands how they support business objectives.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Support development of a software solution by:Developing across platforms/different development environments including SQL Server / C# / .netDeveloping/coding from detailed design specificationsConfiguring software applications based on business requirementsSupport systems design by assisting in integrated systems design from business requirements and developing detailed specifications from business requirementsWork with senior team members to translate business designs into technical solutionsSupport solution deployment and validation by:Supporting solution integration and user acceptance testingProviding post implementation support to businessDeveloping system testing criteriaDeploying based on current SOX and deployment standardsParticipate in standards development by recommending functional development standards and integration standardsParticipate in the adoption of new technologiesSupport solutions by:Understanding business processes and current strategiesStaying current on related system solutions and technologiesAs part of a team, participate in the resolution of cross functional and application related issuesKeeping system documentation currentMaintaining system documentationAdditional duties as assignedQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job requiredAdvanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred6+ years progressive IT experience required3+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect)Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferredTechnology/Package implementation experience in multiple functional areas preferredProficient in more than one development platform/languageCreation of complex detailed technical specifications and systems designsHigh degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applicationsStrong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)Solid understanding and application of mathematical conceptsAbility to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clientsAbility to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.Ability to work with and influence peers and senior managementSelf-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reportingAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.GNC Holdings LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer
