Job DescriptionThe Jr. Engineer will provide support for engineering and operational roles on a continual basis. This individual will analyze, plan, specify, develop, procure, maintain and enhance the various systems, and procedures and processes. This role will work with the Engineering, Operations, Land, Regulatory and Executive teams.Duties and Responsibilities (Essential functions are identified in bold and italicized text below.)Must work safely at all times.Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects.Manage all basin activity analytics, within the Water Solutions division.Understand and adhere to applicable federal, state and local environmental, regulatory and safety requirements.Analyze volumes and provide support to regulatory reporting.Work with Land department to identify and help procure pipeline routes and ROWs.Coordinate surveys for pipelines and other ROWs.Analyze Opex for optimizations.Become a champion of NGL’s pipeline and Salt Water Disposal (SWD) network and operations.Prepare and deliver status reports to executives and operations management.Research and stays abreast of innovation and new developments in relevant areas.Regular attendance at the worksite is required.Perform other duties as assigned.Position QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong business acumen with ability to learn Water Solutions business operations quickly.Strong problem-solving skills.Advanced competency in mathematics, including calculus.Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with a demonstrated ability to work with an executive audience.Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and enterprise information systems.Strong drive to cultivate leadership skills, share knowledge and contribute to operational improvement.Knowledge of engineering in the oil and gas industry.Demonstrated ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally at all times.Demonstrated ability to work with respect and cooperation with fellow employees, customers and business associates.Experience/EducationBachelor's of Science in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, petroleum, chemical) is required.Valid driver’s license is required.Relevant engineering experience is a plus.TravelUp to 25% travel required.
