What will your day look like?

  • Identify and implement strategies to drive efficiency in existing processes.
  • Source and procure new equipment, including preparation of capital justification.
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for all new equipment purchases.
  • Design a range of custom equipment and machinery, including filling machines, fixtures, and replacement parts.
  • Perform process capability analysis and other data analysis to assess process performance.
  • Utilize statistical tools to evaluate and improve processes.
  • Collaborate with Quality teams to develop and execute FDA IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
  • Lead cross-functional project management to deploy solutions effectively.
  • Support Operations, Continuous Improvement Engineering, and Maintenance in process improvements.
  • Train Operations and Maintenance teams to effectively use new equipment and processes.
  • Troubleshoot unexpected malfunctions and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex issues.
  • Manage a variety of rapid prototyping equipment, including standard machining equipment.
  • Other duties assigned by management.


What will you bring to the table?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in related field.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD, with SolidWorks preferred.
  • Experience in light-duty structural design.
  • Demonstrated design experience using pneumatics, servos, and linear motion systems.
  • Strong understanding of how controls impact engineering solutions.
  • Preferred experience in liquid filling systems.
  • Experience in authoring technical documents, including validation protocols, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and/or machining is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities, required for interaction with all levels within the organization.
  • Proficient in critical thinking and troubleshooting of complex mechanical equipment and systems (experience with fillers, batchers, and cartoners is a plus).
  • Goal-oriented, confident, and capable of thriving under pressure in a competitive environment.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Able to work independently with effective initiative to meet short deadlines.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, bend, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see, and lift to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus. Must be mobile and transfer from building to building.
