Team Description:
The BCI App team is responsible for converting brain signals into useful end applications. We are building a product that will help users regain mobility and a sense of independence. Our team consists of neuroscientists, physicians, software and electrical engineers working together to develop the next generation human-ready Brain Computer Interface (BCI). Work involves developing novel ML neural decoders, conducting BCI experiments with monkeys and future clinical trial participants, and building robust software pipelines and user experiences.
Job Responsibilities and Description:
- Develop software
- Test and validate software systems
- Write algorithms to decode brain activity
- Design user experiences centered around brain control
- Review others' code
- Present results in a collaborative setting
- Run brain interface research sessions in coordination with animal training specialists
Key Qualifications:
- Evidence of exceptional ability in a science-related field.
- Experience in software development.

Pay Transparency:
Based on California law, the following details are for California individuals only:
California base salary range: $125,050—$146,500 USD
For Full-Time Employees, your compensation package will include two major components: salary and equity. Guidance on salary for this role will be determined according to the level at which you enter the organization, with the ability to gain more over time as you contribute. In addition, Full-Time Employees are eligible for the following benefits listed below.
