Required Skills & Experience
- Strong professional experience with T-SQL development, ideally in a large-scale transaction processing or other complex system.
- Should have experience writing complex code from scratch, creating stored procedures, views, tables, schemas, structures, etc.
- Basic experience with VB.Net or other .Net framework.
- Strong experience with MS SQL Server, specifically doing performance analysis of queries and database maintenance.
- Strong experience SSRS for reporting.
- Hands on experience with ETL, preferably doing Bulk Imports using BCP.

Job Description
A client of Insight Global in the lottery products and services industry is hiring for SQL Developer to join their Software Development Team! This company is a global leader in providing customized, end-to-end gaming solutions to lottery and gaming organizations worldwide and develops an array of products and services including instant lottery games, lottery gaming systems, terminals and services, and Internet applications, as well as server-based interactive gaming machines.
This team supports the development and maintenance of the Gaming Management System and Relational Database which is an integral part of the Central Gaming System. The SQL Developer will play a crucial role in the team by developing and maintaining the database, managing data imports, bringing complex SQL development skills and best practices, and collaborating with other team members to maintain a high functioning application. This individual should be extremely comfortable with both new development and maintenance, as well as have strong working knowledge of design patterns and clean coding practices. Additionally, the front end of this application is in VB.Net and it would be beneficial for this individual to have some experience in this framework. This position will be expected to work hybrid in Alpharetta one day per week.
Compensation:
$110,000 to $125,000 per year annual salary. ( If client has provided an exact salary, then no need to use a range; also, if the client has provided an hourly rate, then use same hourly language from the Contract/Contract-to-Hire section above. )
