Key Responsibilities:

As part of a cross-functional scrum team (typically 2-4 people), your role will involve:

• Identifying opportunities for machine learning and evaluating the best techniques to apply.
• Helping to develop and deploy machine learning-driven services into production.
• Contributing to the development of internal tools and setting standards for the Data Science team.
• Ensuring best practices are followed in modeling, coding, and statistical analysis, and holding peers accountable to the same standards.
• Applying rigorous testing methods for models, code, and statistical integrity.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., math, computer science, data science, economics).
• 3-5 years of experience developing and evaluating machine learning models.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning models and libraries.
• Familiarity with neural network frameworks and experience in Generative AI (bonus, but not essential).
• Knowledge of NLP or computer vision techniques.
• Experience with the AWS ecosystem is a plus, especially if you’ve worked with Kubernetes, Kubeflow, or EKS.
