Power House Resources is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Superintendent for a 12 month contract position with a prestigious firm. This opportunity is perfect for a seasoned professional ready to make an impact in the industry, with the potential to secure a long-term role.

Field Engineer 

  • Engineering or Construction Management degree required.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in construction projects of similar size/scope specific to piping and piping installation projects. 
  • Experience in industrial/municipal projects (over $10 million) required. Experience in commercial-type construction will not be considered.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Proficient in using the following software packages: Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Microsoft Project.
  • Proficient in performing the following tasks:
  • Field productivity and cost tracking, including comparison to budget.
  • Field layout for upcoming work (support Foremen and Project Superintendent)
  • QA/QC of work performed by field crews.
  • Development of work packages, including sequence of work, materials and equipment needed, associated budgets, etc.
  • Purchase materials/tools needed to perform the work.
  • Assist Project Superintendent with office-related tasks.
  • Subcontractors’ management and scheduling.
  • Assist PM with project schedule updates.
  • Assist PM with project cost reporting.
  • Develop project submittals (product data, quality control plans, field procedures, shop drawings, etc.) in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  • Experience with the following software is preferred, but not required: Procore, Primavera P6, Viewpoint Vista.
  • Exempt position (salary / no overtime). This person will be required to work 60+ hours per week (job will run 6 days a week).
  • Term: Anticipated 12 months, possibly more.


Requirements

Qualifications:


- At least 5 years of experience as a Field Engineer, focusing on public works projects in the water and wastewater municipal sector.

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

- Must be based in the Atlanta, Georgia, Metro area.

- Relocation assistance is not available.

- VISA sponsorship is not offered.
