Civil Engineer

Location: Lynchburg, VA area (on site)

Our Client provides Civil Engineering, Land surveying, and Soil evaluation for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The projects range from roadways and bridges, subdivisions, and municipal infrastructure to hospitals, shopping centers, educational facilities, athletic complexes, and community living spaces.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide Civil engineering through each step of a project from analysis, design, planning and scheduling, construction, startup, and operations.
  • Design, prepare and review technical drawings and specifications for compliance with codes regulations and industry standards.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team including strong technical writing skills for preparing reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Engineer In Training (EIT) license and ready to sit for the Professional Engineer exam OR current P.E. license.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills, and design skills.
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited Institution.
