Denver, CO (Hybrid - 2-3 days per week onsite)

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment, to include Computer Sciences, Computer Information Systems, or other related technical degrees.
  • Three years of professional experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position, including Deskside Services support and Systems Administration in an Enterprise Environment.

Substitutions:
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, standards, coding best practices, and general debugging procedures.
  • Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases, as well as familiarity with using SQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL.
  • Proficiency in .NET languages, HTML, and Web Architecture.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design, code, and test computer software in a .NET framework. Perform application development for software debugging, scripting, source control, and change requests. Utilize SQL Server on a VB.NET platform. Support and maintain configurations for in-house applications.
  • Additional appropriate experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Training or certification related to the work assigned to the position will be considered as a substitution for the required experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting disciplines such as Public Safety Applications, Law Enforcement, and Records.
  • Experience administering/supporting Microsoft Office, Windows 10, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with web design using Google Sites.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and other IT teams.
  • Experience in a wide range of computer technologies, monitoring hardware, software, and security topologies.
  • Operational experience in configuring, deploying, and managing desktops, laptops, and tablets in a local area and wide area network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of ticket-based incident support systems.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Aptitude to determine the most efficient and effective methods to meet work assignments.
  • Demonstrated time management skills.
  • Ability to work with direct supervision.
  • Aptitude to express technical matters both verbally and in writing in a manner understandable to personnel who may not have a technical background in information technology.
  • Ability to work in stressful environments with project deadlines.
