In and out of state applicants are encouraged to apply, as we are partnered with a very welcoming firm with a worldwide presence.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Performing specific and moderate portions of broader assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers or licensed professionals.Gathering and correlating basic engineering data using established procedures.Working on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations, relatively simple tests, and modifications of standard procedures to solve new problems.Proposing approaches to address issues and identifying discrepancies in results.Preparing design plans (plan views, profiles, sections, and details) within Autodesk Civil 3D.Presenting design solutions to project teams and coordinating with diverse project teams.Providing guidance to entry-level engineers.Performing work in accordance with agreed-upon budgets and schedules with little to moderate supervision.Independently completing primary design elements for engineering works.Capable of working independently or within a design team.Attending client meetings and collaborating effectively with team members, partners, agencies, and clients.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field plus 2-4 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred for visiting project sites or clients if public transportation is not available. Selected candidate will undergo a Motor Vehicle Records review.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.Engineer In Training Certification.Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Arc GIS, and Hydrologic/Hydraulic models.Previous work experience with engineering firms, contractors, or government agencies involved in design, construction, or management of Water Resources, Site Development, Transportation, Stormwater, Wastewater, or other general civil-related projects.About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
