Senior Java SDET Engineer in Test

What you will do

• Develop custom automation framework in Java to test backend application consisting of File based interface;
• Good understanding and implementation of Git practices and branching strategy;
• Mentor and assist Junior Developers in the team with technical and business domain knowledge;
• Communicate with stakeholders like Engineering Manager, QA Manager, and Product;
• Develop and schedule Jenkins Pipelines, GitLab, or similar;
• Basic understanding and testing application performance using JMeter or Gatling.

Must haves

• Proficient in developing and maintaining complex Java-based automation frameworks from scratch using design patterns;
• Experience working as Java SDET UI Automation Engineer;
• AWS experience;
• Proficient in designing and maintaining automation solutions to run in Jenkins;
• Proficient in designing test cases from business requirements and technical implementation;
• Developed testing solutions using a risk-based approach.

Nice to haves

• Data testing experience;
• Developed Java-based concurrent automation frameworks using JSON parsers like GSON/Jackson.
