Role: Project Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL

Salary: up to $90,000 DOE

My client are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our civil engineering firm, specializing in Residential and Commercial Land Development, Public Works, Municipal Projects, and Transportation Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering projects from design through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Develop and review plans, specifications, and cost estimates for land development, municipal, and transportation projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and public agencies, to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Prepare technical reports, memos, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Manage permits and coordinate with local authorities for project approvals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in civil engineering (7+ years preferred), with experience in land development, public works, and transportation infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Expertise in Residential and Commercial Land Development.
• Experience with Public Works and Municipal Projects.
• Background in Transportation Infrastructure projects.
