Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to produce end-to-end deliverables with a high degree of visibility. You will be responsible for envisioning, designing, coding, validating, and deploying NEW features from the ground up! We work at a fast pace, in an Agile environment. We are looking for great, creative engineers who can think outside the box to solve new problems. We need someone who can learn fast and contribute to full stack development in a “next generation” solution with frontend written in Angular/REACT/Node and backend written in C#/Python, among other technologies. We leverage Azure components including but not limited to Azure web services, Service Fabric, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Lake, Queues, and Azure Functions.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Build/deploy/troubleshoot software systems in secure clouds
2. Provide operational support for the systems we own, address customer issues, and drive operational excellence to reduce operational load
3. Solve problems and create solutions to prevent problem recurrence, with the goal of automating response to all non-exceptional service conditions
4. Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning
5. Design/build/test robust, scalable services, and APIs using cloud technologies
6. Collaborate within the team and across teams to drive solutions
7. Write clear and concise documentation
8. Leverage Azure components including but not limited to Azure web services, Service Fabric, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Lake, Queues, and Azure Functions

Here's What You Need:

1. Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of professional experience, in lieu of a degree
2. 2 years of coding skills in one or more popular languages and platforms, such as any of the following: C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Ruby, Python

Bonus Points if You Have:

1. Experience with building infrastructure using Microsoft Azure technology
2. Excellent analytical skills and an ability to abstract concepts and think in terms of OO design
3. Strong problem solving and communication skills

Security Clearance:

1. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $117,000 - $214,300
Colorado: $117,000 - $185,200
New York: $108,500 - $214,300
Washington: $124,700 - $197,300
