Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Commercial, the Contracts and Commercial Engineer is responsible for coordinating and supporting the daily activities of the corporate commercial group. The role will be focused on Contract Administration and Management.
The areas of responsibility and/or exposure include market analysis, tendering and contracting, contract management and delivery, and invoicing and payment.
The role is primarily to act as process and procedure developer and administrator in the areas of responsibility and/or focus.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing, implementing, and administering tendering, contracting, and contract management procedures and processes.
• Responsible for process efficiency, effectiveness, and continual improvement.
• Responsible for tracking and monitoring process compliance, deviations, and non-conformities.
• Responsible for providing guidance to global businesses and maintaining process alignment between global businesses.
• Responsible for providing contractual and commercial clarifications to global businesses.

Qualifications
Education / Training: Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Contracting, Law, Engineering, or similar field.
Experience: Minimum eight (8) years' experience in a senior or supervisory role with an E&P or oilfield services, interventions, marine or offshore drilling company.
Skills:

• Extensive experience in contracting and managing contracts.
• Able to convey complex ideas and work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Exceptional communicator.

This individual must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment, with minimal supervision or oversight. He/she should possess excellent communication (oral and written) skills, adept at managing dynamic priorities, driven and results oriented, demonstrate leadership and strategic planning abilities.
