UDR is seeking qualified candidates for opportunity to support the Fluor Nuclear Power in Aiken, SC (SRS) and Houston, TX.
Project Engineer
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders) applicable to design.
Responsibilities:
Support creation and coordination of project effort hours, and cost estimates and budgets, and monitoring progress and cost performance against these
Coordinate the preparation, delivery and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages
Support coordination between design, procurement, material management and construction on technical and schedule requirements
Assist the Project Director/Project Manager (PD/PM) in performing tasks as assigned
Coordinate and prepare for internal and client project and design reviews
Support the interface and communications with the client's technical staff
Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
Bachelor of Science or equivalent with minimum 7 years' professional experience (nuclear preferred) in relevant design/field experience required.
Work with document preparers and responsible management to revise/develop and issue FNP program and project procedures, manuals and other documents
Maintain and revise program and project PPM TOCs as needed
Assist with maintenance of the Fluor Nuclear Power webpage including posting of new and/or revised procedures and other necessary updates
Administrator for electronic Document Action Request system (eDAR) in BPI
Maintain program and project Standing Delegates lists.
Possibility of cross-training as a Training Coordinator
Fluor University Administrator for training completions, curriculum-based assignments, and training items
Maintain MS Access database of all Fluor Nuclear Power employees to generate training plans and reports
Update daily training reports
Update and notify employees of new/revised Nuclear-specific or project procedures
Assign training to employees and monitor progress/track due dates
Transmit training documentation to document control (PDDM)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science or equivalent with minimum 7 years' professional experience (nuclear preferred) in relevant design/field experience required.
