We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer in Rockford, IL. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the setup and integration of sawing machines, automation systems, and manufacturing optimization peripherals. Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on controls and setup for sawing products.
  • Integrate and set up Slytek machine monitoring and tool optimization systems.
  • Integrate and set up Trinity Automation systems.
  • Perform field installations and travel up to 70% of the time.
  • Develop, test, and implement PLC programs (Allen Bradley).
  • Support CNC integration and coding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless automation integration.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in control and automation.
  • Strong PLC knowledge, particularly with Allen Bradley systems.
  • Experience in robotics is a plus.
  • Proficient in CNC peripheral integrations and PLC ladder modifications is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
