Our VC-backed company is pushing the limits of 3D printing, machine vision, robotics, and automation to redefine how footwear is designed and produced. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, code, and optimize slicers for FDM 3D printing, with a focus on Prusa, Cura, Orca, and Bambu slicers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and refine slicer functionality for improved print quality and performance.
- Customize G-code generation and implement post-processing scripts to optimize the printing process.
- Troubleshoot slicer issues and work on improving print quality through slicing software modifications.
- Stay ahead of new slicing technologies and integrate them into our production workflow.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in coding and developing 3D printing slicers (Prusa, Cura, Orca, Bambu experience is preferable).
- Strong understanding of FDM/FFF 3D printing technologies and materials.
- Excellent programming skills related to slicer development and G-code generation.
- Problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to relocate to Ventura, CA. For the right candidate, we consider remote work.
