Job Summary
IntelliBridge is proactively seeking highly experienced Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Solutions Architects with a minimum of a Top Secret Clearance to support a secure program within the Department of Defense. Candidates will be obligated to be upgraded to a TS/SCI for the role, but should not delay start date. These positions are expected to come available early 2024, and we are seeking candidates who have an interest in the mission and the work, and would be willing to talk proactively to plan for a future transition into the team in Q1 or Q2 of 2024.
This work is highly rewarding with real worldwide mission impact, and is focused in a few key areas heavily tied to Data Science, Data Engineering and Data Architecture using the technology stacks listed below. Any candidate with experience in these tools, please feel free to apply and we will set up time to discuss more in depth if there is an alignment on skills. More details about the program can be shared during the initial exploratory discussion.
- Everything is AWS, so experience in AWS is a must. AWS certifications are a big plus, examples below:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience and relevant skills:
- Any IaC or automation experience should be a must (that demonstrates the individual can code from a platform perspective)
- Good examples (not exhaustive): Jenkins, Hashicorp Terraform, helm, puppet, AWS CDK, AWS CloudFormation, SaltStack
- Understanding of GitOps Practices
- Configure as Code (CaC) experience and relevant skills:
- Understanding of YAML or JSON based deployments for configuration of applications and/or infrastructure
- Developer Environment Tools:
- Git – and all associated commands (merge, pull, commits, clones, etc), understanding of merge conflicts
- WSL2, Ubuntu, or other Linux client flavor
- AWS CDK and SDK (boto3)
- Visual Studio Code
- Draw.io – Architecture Diagrams
- Overall understanding of Kubernetes and how to interact with Kubernetes:
- Kubectl, helm charts, namespaces, services and virtual services, secrets and configmaps, helm releases, git repos, pod status
- Control Nodes and Worker Nodes
- Kubernetes Service Mesh – configuring ingress and routes
- Deploying applications to Kubernetes
- Docker experience a plus but not required
- Managing and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines
- Open Source Applications: Keycloak, sonarqube, ELK or PLG Stack (logging), Grafana, FluxCD / ArgoCD
- RHEL8.x and STIG process:
- STIG Viewer, OpenSCAP
- Bash Scripts
- MUST: learned a new technology and doing it in the past 1 year – what it is, why they learned it, how they learned it… and preferably quick
Clearance: All candidates must have a minimum of a Top Secret clearance, and be willing to immediately be upgraded to a TS/SCI.
Location: Candidates will be considered for a mixture of work models including remote, hybrid, and onsite depending on the candidate, needs at the time of hire and team structure. A commitment to a particular work posture will be included as part of the offer, but we would like to talk to candidates open to any work posture.
Preference will be given to any candidates willing to be onsite in Crystal City, VA or Fort Bragg, NC.
