Summary
Partner is seeking full-time Building Science Project Engineers across the country to complete Property & Facility Condition Assessments and subsequent due diligence reports for our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systems, provide recommendations for immediate repairs, and use observations and industry standards to determine future building system replacements
- Conduct appropriate site reconnaissance, data compilation and organization, and project research (historical, regulatory, etc.)
- Technical report authoring and preparation of quality supporting documents (maps, appendices, etc.)
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule and effectively communicate project progress and any issues as they arise to the Project Manager and client
- Provide solid recommendations and solutions to the Project Manager and client
- Coordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scope
- A Bachelors or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.)
- 0-2 years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating
- 0-2 years of experience performing property inspections
- 0-2 years of experience completing similar work for financial institutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Projects involve a degree of travel. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and provide own transportation to and from project sites
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on projects concurrently with a proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team
- Familiar with the basic principles of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering, including construction and maintenance of structures and systems
- Understand concepts of building component life cycles, system condition evaluation, replacement costs
- Demonstrate strong skills in observation, deduction, and reasoning
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift
- Requires the ability to climb a ladder
- This position's work mode is hybrid based on weekly site visits.

Compensation
Salary range is $55,000 to $65,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role.
The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
