Electrical Engineer MEP

A fast growing firm located in Indianapolis, Indiana is looking for full-time Electrical Engineers to join a growing team of professionals. We are a multi-discipline engineering firm that offers a broad range of services. Our services include mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low voltage engineering design services as well as commissioning services for healthcare, laboratory, academic, commercial, religious, industrial and residential markets. Essential Functions:

• Perform engineering design evaluations and project engineering design, specific to Electrical Engineering
• 1-4 years of MEP experience in the United States
• Analyze existing electrical systems for buildings
• Have ability to design lighting systems, perform photometric analysis, electrical short circuit analysis, energy code compliance calculations, and building power load analysis
• Prepare engineering analysis of projects, to include: preliminary design, budget analysis, calculations, life cycle costs, and equipment selection
• Prepare drawings and layouts; proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Prepare technical construction specifications
• Desired Qualifications:
• Design: Generates creative solutions; translates concepts and information into images; uses feedback to modify designs; applies design principles; demonstrates attention to detail.
• Computer Skills: AutoCAD, Revit
• Education: BS in Electrical Engineering.
