Hyper is seeking an Applied Machine Learning Engineer with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance our AI avatar storytelling and behavior. This role is perfect for someone with a talent for rapid prototyping, passion for the latest ML models, and experience in managing and improving large datasets.

You will...

1. Take charge of tuning, deploying, and improving existing Large Language Models (LLMs) for character storytelling and embodied avatar behaviors.
2. Engage in rapid prototyping and hacking with cutting-edge ML models, constantly exploring new technologies and methodologies.
3. Manage and enhance large datasets to improve the performance and efficiency of our machine learning applications.

Qualifications

1. A portfolio of personal or professional projects related to machine learning and LLM tuning.
2. Experience deploying, tuning, iterating, and evaluating models.
3. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in ML, such as Python, R, or Java, and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
4. Experience with handling and improving large datasets, with a strong understanding of data manipulation and data cleaning techniques.
5. A deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, principles, and their application to real-world problems.
6. Excellent written communication skills, essential for our remote working environment.
