The Sensor Group LLC (TSG), located in Tucson, Arizona, is an OEM imaging products company specializing in LIDAR, high-speed imaging, and multi-spectral remote sensing products for various platforms. TSG offers imaging products and gimbal-based solutions to the market, with in-house design and development facilities for custom imaging sensor arrays, cores, and data pipelines.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Engineer specializing in High Speed and FPGA Design and Test. The role involves tasks such as designing and testing circuits, bench testing test chips, and developing FPGA backends for cores and ASICs. The engineer will collaborate with the development team to integrate electro-optical technologies into imaging products and solutions.


Qualifications

  • Electronic design, layout, fab, testing for prototype and production
  • Knowledge of circuit theory and the principles of high speed design (~analog domains)
  • Experience with FPGA Design and Testing, including VHDL
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, moods of openness and curiosity
  • Able to write test code in python or equivalent for testing designs
  • Experience with high speed sampling, LiDAR, CMOS pixel design is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; MSEE is an advantage
