Job Summary
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified .NET Software Engineer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.

Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software solutions using SQL Server, C#, SQL, and .Net Framework.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, code, test, and debug software applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement standard processes for software development including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Solve and resolve sophisticated technical issues to ensure smooth operation of software applications.
- Maintain and update existing software applications to enhance functionality and performance.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure software solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to find opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
- Document software designs, technical specifications, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintenance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the company’s purpose by developing software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 10 to 12 years of experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, C#, SQL, and .Net Framework.
- Experience in developing high-quality software solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to solve sophisticated technical issues.
- Proficiency in implementing standard methodologies for software development.
- Experience in vendor management.
- Retail and Item Management (nice to have).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
