Associate Civil Engineer

We are currently seeking an Associate Engineer to join our Water Resources department. This position offers a hybrid work schedule. We are looking for enthusiastic leaders who are committed to life-long learning and always expanding their knowledge of their discipline. Associates at WEBB play an active role in the firm’s pursuit to reach its goals by not only performing at the top of their game for their specific position but looking at the bigger picture to assist the firm in meeting its business development goals. Salary range: $83,200 - $133,200

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects, pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities
  2. Production of plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects
  3. Assist in preparation of various engineering reports, including alignment and feasibility studies, preliminary design reports, and Master Plans
  4. Hydraulic modeling of water and sewer systems
  5. Coordination of engineering tasks during project construction such as permitting issues, submittal reviews, survey coordination, and change order review
  6. Designing mechanical related projects including pump and lift stations, wells, and treatment facilities, including site grading plans
  7. Support multiple design teams and Project Managers

Requirements

  1. Ability to produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using CAD software
  2. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and two years’ experience in related projects
  3. Possession of PE license
  4. Proficient in AutoCAD; Civil 3D a plus
  5. Working knowledge of planning and construction documents
  6. Excellent technical and communication skills
  7. Ability to work independently on several concurrent projects
  8. Ability to read, understand, and adapt to local agency standards and communicate with agencies and clients directly and effectively
