Job Requirements / Description

Project Structural Engineer

Does ensuring the structural integrity of slab cutting of a Pre-WWII hangar to support a C-130 aircraft sound like another day at the office? Does working with a post tension slab not scare you? If installing trenches in a slab for a new ILDFA system in a maintenance hangar for the next generation F-35 fighter jets gets you excited, this is the role for you.

Fire suppression systems containing firefighting foam have been widely used in military aircraft and commercial airline hangars. The foam contains PFAS chemicals (also known as "forever chemicals"), These chemicals have been linked to ovarian, thyroid, and testicular cancer, infant birth defects and many other health issues.

The solution we developed, the ILDFA, eliminates the need for firefighting foam systems and is the only effective alternative to firefighting foam. ILDFA has been selected as the preferred fire protection method by the US Navy, the US Marine Corps, the Canadian Forces, and many other military branches will follow.
