Job Title: Principal Maintenance & Reliability Engineer

Location: Greater St Louis Area

Sector: Pharmaceuticals

The Mechanical Reliability/Maintenance Engineer maximizes overall equipment effectiveness; by establishing reliability procedures, controls, and reporting systems, ensuring continuous improvement of all maintenance reliability processes.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Project Engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified equipment
• Ensure reliability of equipment by establishing predictive/preventive maintenance requirements and service contracts, identify critical assets and spare parts, evaluating new equipment and maintenance techniques
• Skilled in the use of Root Cause/Root Cause Failure Analysis, Failure Reporting/Analysis and Corrective Action System
• Actively participate in general site and Departmental Safety and Quality initiatives, including assignment to a Departmental Safety Team if needed
• Update SOPs due to any changes made to equipment to improve product or production efficiency or flow

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent engineering discipline
• 5-8 years of experience in an Engineering role within a manufacturing facility
• Experience in an FDA controlled industry is preferred
• Excellent analytical /problem-solving skills
