Project Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain effective, professional relationships with project team members, including owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
- Understand and adhere to the safety requirements for each assigned project, assisting the project team in monitoring safety on the jobsite.
- Coordinate with trade partners, including procurement activities.
- Manage document control efficiently, including RFIs, submittals, and daily and weekly reports.
- Support the project team in managing and monitoring quality control.
- Assist project managers and superintendents with planning and scheduling tasks.
- Oversee the closeout procedures in accordance with contract documents.
- Coordinate meeting agendas and prepare meeting minutes.
- Contribute to budget control, including estimates and change order management.
Requirements:
- Collaborative team player with a strong desire for continued growth in the construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with building codes and the ability to interpret plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of Alternative Project Delivery Methods (APDM), including Design-Build, Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Job Order Contracting (JOC).
- Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.
- Proficiency in technology including Microsoft products, Bluebeam, Viewpoint V6, Procore, and Primavera.
