About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
• Pay: $24/Hour
• Location: Ramsey, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Thurs 6AM-4:30PM with optional O/T.
Daily functions:
Set up CNC Mill according to specifications. Select and align holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines. Operate, set-up, and edit programs on the machines within the department. In addition to running machines, the machinist will periodically inspect parts completed by operators during the production process to monitor for consistent dimensional and visual quality. Responsible for continuously monitoring equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, the Department Lead will be notified to resolve the problem. Follow the instructions on the process sheet, drawings and/or programs. Teach team members all aspects of machining. Conduct quality assurance checks. Make machine adjustments. Modify program speeds. Meet production schedules. Follow all safety regulations.
Desired qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in precision manufacturing operation. Strong problem-solving skills. Have a high attention to detail. Experience with CNC machining.
Physical requirements:
Lifting 40lbs Continued moving around the machine. Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.
