Store: CHI-MERRILLVILLE, IN

Build customer relationships while creating a memorable framing solution for their art. Help customers shop our store and find what they’re looking for. Provide a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
2. Execute Company policies and standards.
3. Embrace and execute personal designer by using Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships with all customers while creating Custom Framing solutions.
4. Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
5. Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
6. Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for.
7. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
8. Support shrink and safety programs.
9. Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner.
10. Participate in the truck unload and stocking processes.
11. Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
12. Acknowledge customers, help locate product, and provide solutions.
13. Assist with Omni channel processes.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
2. Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.

Preferred Requirements:

1. Retail experience.
2. Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Physical Requirements:

1. Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
2. Ability to move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods.
3. Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Work Environment: Public retail store setting; all public areas are climate-controlled. Some outdoor work may be assigned.
