Automated Software Testing Engineer - Healthcare Claims Processing

AUTOMATED SOFTWARE TESTING ENGINEER – HEALTHCARE CLAIMS PROCESSING

ALTA IT Services is staffing a 100% remote, 3-month contract opening for an Automated Software Testing Engineer to support a respected health insurance customer. Candidates must have healthcare claims processing and core framework development experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS

1. Experience working in healthcare claims processing
2. 6-10 years of experience in a technical discipline, 5 of which must be in automated software testing with core framework development.
3. Experience with test automation framework architectural design
4. Experience with Object Oriented Design, and extensive use of programming languages (Java, JavaScript, SQL/PL-SQL)
5. Strong experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD Framework
6. Strong knowledge of Mobile test automation (e.g., Appium)
7. Experience in Webservices test automation using tools like Soap UI
8. Experience with relational database management systems (e.g. MS SQL Server, DB2, Oracle), Proven proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL
9. Proven experience in creating, maintaining, and running complex database queries.
10. Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall software development life cycle (SDLC) models
11. Experience in multiple environments and/or on multiple operating systems (i.e., Windows, Linux, UNIX, Mainframe) and technologies (.Net, Web technologies, etc.)
12. Ability to work independently and effectively in small teams is necessary, and to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
13. Individuals must demonstrate initiative, and work well independently and as contributing team members.
14. Should be well organized, detail oriented and possess solid written and oral communication skills

PREFERRED:

1. Strong analytical and architectural mindset for effective framework design

HOURLY RATE:

$70 to $75/hr. range. Benefits available.
