Sr. Quality Engineer - Chicago

This candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality assurance processes. Throughout the implementation and maintenance process, this candidate should use data analysis to better understand quality reporting measures and improve processes.

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

• · Work with customers to obtain all necessary APQP documents including Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
• · Support internal as well as third party ISO: 9001:2015 Quality Management System audits and ISO-IATF 16949.
• · Serve as main contact for external customer concerns. Monitor, respond, initiate corrective actions, follow up, close and track customer complaints.
• · Drive implementation of all quality policies and required operating procedures and work instructions.
• · Schedule and conduct meetings with customers, suppliers, and in-plant personnel.

This full-time role is a part of our Quality Team team and reports to the Quality Manager.

Required experience:

• · Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• · Minimum six (6) years’ experience in quality engineering.
• · Solid working knowledge of PPAP processes.
• · Responsible for reading and understanding the ISO- IATF 16949
• · Knowledge of core tools.
