Job Requirements / Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Execute test cases, document results, and track defects using industry-standard tools.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software releases by conducting regression testing and verifying bug fixes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality standards and project timelines.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting on test progress, results, and overall quality metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in manual software testing, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Proficient in creating and executing detailed test cases and test plans.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience testing streaming applications or platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (a plus but not required).
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing.

Hourly Rate: $35-50 hr.
