Job Title: Electrical Superintendent - Data Center / Industrial Construction - 3 month contract
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven track record as an Electrical Superintendent, with a focus on industrial construction projects. Residential construction experience is not the primary consideration.
- Experience in managing and executing QA/QC punchlists for electrical work.
- History of overseeing subcontractors in the field.
- OSHA 10 certification is mandatory.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in Data Center construction is an advantage, but industrial construction experience is also acceptable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with and oversee direct hire supervisors, major subcontractor supervisors, and field engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Ensure that all craft personnel and subcontractors adhere to safety, quality, schedule, and performance standards as outlined by the company.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to craft supervisors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
- Clearly communicate project schedules and expectations to craft supervisors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate the interpretation of technical specifications and ensure compliance with all relevant standards, procedures, and contractual obligations.
- Supply necessary technical data to the direct hire workforce, subcontractor supervision, or Construction Engineers.
- For union projects, ensure daily operations align with national and local union agreements, and establish working relationships with local union representatives.
Union Project Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with National Maintenance and Project Labor Union Agreements.
- Understand and comply with local union agreements.
- Maintain uninterrupted workflow at union interface points.
- Have the capability to stand in for the Construction Manager if needed.
- Comprehend the overall project schedule and requirements of other disciplines or subcontractors.
- May be responsible for safety and quality on site.
- Mentor and train other discipline superintendents and recommend training needs.
Schedule and Compensation:
- This is a 3-month contract position.
- Work schedule: 6 days a week, 10 hours per day. OT is 1.5x
- Per diem: $130 per day, 7 days a week.
Skills and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Construction Manager in enforcing adherence to company safety, quality, ethical standards, and performance management programs.
- Report any inappropriate conduct by site personnel to the Construction Manager and Safety Manager.
- Monitor and report on construction activities to ensure compliance with the CPM schedule.
- Help resolve issues related to drawings, schedules, quality, quantity tracking, cost reporting, and safety.
- Track and report on construction productivity, progress, and costs to the Construction Manager and Field Project Controls Manager.
- Ensure practical adherence to company standards and capture new project lessons learned.
- Conduct meetings to review daily, weekly, and monthly planning.
- Develop and monitor the 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule.
- Ensure availability of necessary resources and develop corrective plans to meet progress and productivity targets.
- Maintain a daily log for site records and review timesheets, installed quantity reports, and progress payment requests.
- Coordinate daily and weekly work plans with other discipline superintendents and the Construction Manager.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with scope and schedule requirements.
- Assist in preparing extra work authorization requests and administer the execution of work packages and equipment installation.
- Develop and distribute Job Hazard Analysis for major erection packages.
Education:
- Preferred: Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Experience:
- At least 8 years of experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on similar projects.
- Valid Driver's License.
Certifications:
- OSHA 10 certification.

- Includes exposure to distracting or uncomfortable sounds and noise levels.
- Typical office environment.
