Electrical Engineer (Medical Devices)

Role: Hardware Electrical Engineer (Medical Device)

Location: Alameda, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities:

• Sustain engineering and manage electronic component life-cycles.
• Investigate and document instrument field complaints.
• Use root cause analysis tools for troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
• Provide input to cross-functional teams and work with contract manufacturers.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems (ISO, FDA, etc.).
• Maintain professional behavior with internal/external associates.

Education/Experience:

• Degree: BS in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred
• Experience: 3+ years in medical device industry
• Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical design and system interactions.
• Conduct measurements and provide engineering test reports.
• Experience in electronics design with knowledge of EMC, ESD, and Immunity.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
