What You’ll get to Do:

1. Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
2. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
3. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

1. BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical degree (STEM degree) with 5+ years related experience or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical degree (STEM degree required) with 3+ years of experience or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical degree (STEM degree).
2. Recent experience creating integration and test, design verification test, and flight test plans and procedures.
3. Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluation.
4. Experience turning concepts into reality through MATLAB implementation of new technologies.
5. Understanding of RF propagation modeling, computational electromagnetics, wave theory, antenna design, and RF chain analysis.
6. Working knowledge of one or more of the following specialty areas for integration and test related to EO/IR/RF systems: sensors/antennas, transmitters/receivers, optics, detection, and tracking.
7. US Citizenship
8. Active Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience creating integration and test, design verification test, and flight test plans and procedures.
2. Knowledge of C, C++, CUDA, VHDL, OpenCL, SysML, Python, or other scripting languages.
3. Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) concepts and tools (Rhapsody).
4. Working knowledge of DOORS and ClearCase/ClearQuest.
5. Experience in Electronic Warfare RF systems with real-time digital signal processing and threat scenario analysis.
6. Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and Systems Thinking mindset.
7. Excellent decision-making and communication (written and oral) skills.
8. Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment.
9. Active TS clearance.

Salary Range: $102,400 - $153,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
