Senior iOS Software Engineer

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Software Engineer to join the Analytics Technology team. The team exists to enable the collection of clickstream analytics data from our various properties, including both web and mobile applications. This group designs and builds the SDKs and backend services that power and facilitate the ability to understand customers, allowing the company to provide increasingly better experiences for them. In this role, you will strive to make the collection of this data easier and more robust for others throughout the organization by enabling engineers to think outside the box to solve big and complex problems. Duties

1. Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on the design and implementation of products
2. Work with Backend Engineers to build and ship features
3. Design a framework for creating user apps that grows with the needs of the company
4. Monitor app performance
5. Watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems and rectify the issues
6. Review app and feature code
7. Plan future app upgrades with the development team
8. Assist in the development of features that will be put on the mobile app and in internal applications
9. Implement responsible design principles to ensure that the app renders well on most devices and is accessible
10. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Desired Skills/Experience:

1. 3+ years of experience working on large scale iOS applications
2. Experienced and innovative technical lead Senior iOS Software Engineer
3. Experience as a technical lead for the design and implementation of architecturally significant applications
4. Experience with modern iOS libraries and tooling
5. Experience with continuous integration tools such as GitHub Actions
6. Ability to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
7. Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times

9. Demonstrated technical leadership experience
10. Strong experience using Swift
