The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking an experienced Lead SecDevOps Technical Engineer to oversee a team of web developers, application developers, designers, system administrators, information security officers, and help desk specialists for an Intelligence Community customer. The role involves ensuring continuous operation, maintenance, and security of the customer's intelligence discovery website and application suite across multiple networks and domains. It also requires enhancing and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline, automating infrastructure management, database administration, and developing automation scripts. This position involves close collaboration with a diverse team of technical staff to enhance the Defense Intelligence Enterprise's capabilities.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and mentoring a cross-functional team in operational and maintenance activities to ensure system availability, reliability, and security.
- Overseeing application functionality and updates across all relevant networks, focusing on enhancing efficiency and interoperability.
- Providing full operational and user support to maintain high availability and reliability of all applications while minimizing planned outages.
- Enhancing, improving, and maintaining CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes to facilitate faster development and resilient deployments.
- Implementing and maintaining security measures in line with government regulations.
- Participating in Agile release planning, design sessions, and other meetings to align with project requirements and timelines.
- Collaborating with government leads and stakeholders to ensure system compatibility with integrated dissemination applications.
- Monitoring project progress, addressing technical challenges, and providing regular updates to government and contract program managers.
- Performing software code maintenance and securing architecture to meet domain-specific security requirements.
- Managing authority to operate (ATO) documentation and providing tiered help desk support to the user base.
What does Leidos need from you?
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field, with 10+ years of experience in software development, technology management, or system engineering. (8+ years with a master's degree)
- Experience with front-end technologies/frameworks, back-end implementation, database maintenance, and familiarity with search technologies.
- Experience overseeing operational environments and presenting overview briefings and updates to stakeholders.
- Experience in identifying and mitigating risks to project priorities.
Favorable if you have:
- Experience leading O&M on critical classified systems.
- Experience managing a technical team through a government ATO process.
