We are partnered with an international financial services firm to hire an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to bolster its cloud security posture.
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices are followed and that our cloud environments are secure against threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud security architectures and controls.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments on cloud services.
- Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and respond to alerts.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats in cloud security.
- Provide security training and guidance to internal teams.
- Assist in compliance efforts and audits related to cloud security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security or information security.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
This role pays up to $150,000 on the base salary, in additional to a 10% bonus. This role will be 2 days a week on-site.
