Job Description

We seek a UX Designer with data visualization expertise to partner with our technology and business teams to create a dashboard that will enable senior leaders to enter specific variables like marketing spend, pricing, and location to help them make decisions on how to allocate resources and budget to achieve the greatest benefit to our business. The work ahead is to design a vision concept from which the technology team can iteratively build towards as more data becomes available.

The UI will include:

  • Some sort of data visualization to help with comparison of outcomes based on data variable. Likely a glide path.
  • Some inputs to select variables in the data set.
  • A call-and-response UI to ask the model questions based upon the data shown.

The UX designer will be expected to uncover use cases, requirements, and create several iterations of the interface design with user and stakeholder feedback during the engagement.

User Experience Designer is responsible for leading efforts in applying knowledge of human capabilities, technology, industry design best practices and standards to create user interfaces for high complexity and strategic initiatives. As a Lead User Experience Designer, you will drive strong cross-functional collaboration, interpersonal relationships, and business outcomes in service of customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs highly complex products independently, manages related costs and methods.
  • Impacts teams and department and aspects of functional and business results.
  • Expert in UX best practices and trends; CX standards, and business goals.
  • Able to use knowledge of UX methods to influence how multi-disciplinary teams deliver outcomes.
  • Leads UX strategy within program area or across multiple products.
  • Partners with business stakeholders to help understand upcoming design needs and operating strategies.
  • Determines and coordinates work priorities and timelines for work across program areas; communicates delivery dates.
  • Fosters an environment of continuous learning and growth, where others learn from experiences and setbacks and proactively seeks ways to become more effective.
  • Anticipates operational issues and develops preventative measures.
  • Forms strong relationships across the enterprise and leverages key influencers to impact decisions within and outside their immediate organizational structure (organizational savvy).

Education And Experience

  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
  • 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Functional Skills

  • Portfolio of experience that demonstrates deep expertise in data visualization.
  • Experience with complex transactional business models.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Expert in design thinking, digital product development, and rapid prototyping.
  • Expert in design programs such as Figma, Mural, and MS Office suite.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS.
