A Snapshot of Your DayThe Business Process Engineer will be accountable to develop and implement new business processes, improve existing processes, support business to resolve process and SAP related issues in purchasing and related areas.How You’ll Make an ImpactImplementing new business process and enhance existing process in purchasing areaResponding to SAP based questionsProviding desktop procedures/ work instructions for either SAP processes or organizational needs.Standardizes business processesTrain suppliers and business usersCollaborating with power users in other groups when integrated process questions occur.Role administration supportCreating IT tickets (production issues, enhancements) for “maintenance” type SAP changes as well as anyTesting required to ensure the changes are completed correctly before deploying the change in the production environment.Raising issues that cannot be solved locally to the IT and provide any vital data or examples, or in case of a large change, functional descriptions of changes and potential argument to support change.Resolving business process and SAP related issuesLeading and participating in business process-oriented projects for supply chain management and inventory processWhat You BringExperienced knowledge in SAP Materials Management with integration to other areas like MRP, inventory and warehouse management, supplier quality, and finance.Good knowledge of Subcontracting process.Knowledge of Goods Movements within SAP along with serialization.Understanding of MTS, MTO strategies, Batch Management.Understanding of Vendor Master data, Purchasing Groups and Purchasing Organizations.Expertise in Info record, Source List, Automatic Purchase Orders, Contracts, Stock Transport Orders.Knowledge of Invoicing Process. Handling GR/IR discrepanciesKnowledge of ARIBA and Visio would be preferredCandidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versaSoft Skills:Great teammateReady to learn from other team membersCommunicativeEducation:BS in Industrial Engineering or similar, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
