Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Customer-centric design mindset
• Passion for creating products that resonate on an emotional level and drive business results
• 2+ years of experience in product/interaction design
• Experience designing for and working with design systems and reusable component libraries
• Online portfolio showing examples of real published work

How you will lead

• Articulate complex visions through simple and innovative designs
• Engage with customers and learn quickly through iterative prototyping
• Collaborate effectively with other designers, product managers, developers and marketers
• Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews
• Advance a strong point of view, backed up by customer data, design rationale, personal expertise, and industry trends
• Participate in customer research and apply insights to generate designs that deliver customer delight
• Self-organize and manage multiple projects efficiently

Additional Responsibilities

• For projects of low to moderate complexity, assist in the discovery phase
• Input for XD research
• Conduct competitive audits and external trends analysis
• Define interaction design goals and principles
• Contribute to interaction design processes, schedules, and milestones
• Develop personas, user scenarios/stories, and storyboards
• Create multiple concepts and iterations around user interaction models and workflows
• Design wireframes, screen flows, and prototypes
• Prepare presentations for communicating designs
• Develop UI Specs
• Ensure delivery matches specifications and identify deviations
• Provide appropriate trade-off recommendations
