Process Engineer

The successful candidate will have a strong background in process improvements, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. As a manufacturing innovator, this role will reimagine production processes, spatial design, and operational protocols to unlock efficiency gains, reduce waste, and boost overall productivity.

Focus:
- Lead efforts in process optimization and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Deploy process optimization strategies to eliminate waste, maximize productivity, and achieve seamless production workflows.
- Develop, manage, and update technical documentation, ensuring adherence to change management (MOC) procedures.
- Conduct research to innovate and enhance existing manufacturing practices.
- Create, implement, and maintain safety procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Design and optimize production floor layouts for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead corrective action initiatives, perform audits, and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a process engineering or related role, such as continuous improvement or quality engineering.
- In-depth knowledge and application of lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in documentation management and control processes, including MOC procedures.
- Proven track record in optimizing plant configurations and refining operational workflows to maximize productivity.
- Strong background in corrective action reporting, auditing, and KPI development.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance regulations.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred but not required.
