Pay: $22-$34/hour

Summary from client of what they need:
What they are looking for in a candidate: Looking for someone to build out the electrical in anew office building and then transition to working in the field. This would be an applicant that is most likely a superintendent with experience taking a set of plans and laying everything out and constructing it while running a 2-to-3-person crew under them for a commercial style building (assisted living homes, restaurants, office buildings, etc)
Experienced Commercial Electrician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating and constructing an office/warehouse build out of up to 10,000 square feet.
- Manage field staff and procure materials in advance for the week-to-week operations.
- Proficient at conduit bending.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of all systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Electrical experience 3+ years
- Have knowledge of NEC
- Proficient at Blueprint reading
- Scissor lift operator.
- Class A CDL Preferred**
- Journeyman Preferred **
Physical Demands:
- Safe worker with clean driving record
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
- Communicate with employees, managers, subordinates and guests through verbal communication, hearing ability and visual acuity.
