C++ Developer

My client, one of the largest and most successful hedge funds of all time, is looking for a C++ Developer to join a new, fully systematic team in Chicago.
You will be responsible for creating software solutions that use advanced quantitative techniques and technologies to solve some of the toughest questions in finance, as well as helping to build low latency trading systems in modern C++, adding new strategies and improving executions.
In this team, you will be collaborating with Quant Researchers and Quant Traders to analyze data, develop research tools, and enhance & maintain the company's automated trading system and algorithms.
This team is lean in nature, which means your work will have a direct impact on the firm's investment opportunities. You will be working with some of the best engineers in the business and be paid a market-leading base salary and guaranteed bonus.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or STEM subjects.
- Strong programming skills in modern C++.
- Prior experience in developing on a Linux stack.
- Knowledge of low latency systems engineering.
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
