Engineering Support Specialist 3 – Project Coordinator

Join AZAD Technology Partners as an Engineering Support Specialist / Project Coordinator and provide support and assistance to the Substation Engineering organization, supporting Project Engineers within a regional electric utility organization. This individual will track project milestones, maintain, track, review, update, and organize project engineering records, respond to customer and stakeholder inquiries and requests for information, and provide accurate record keeping for the organization.

This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is based in Vancouver, WA and is hybrid with work performed onsite two days weekly.

The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is $29.57 - $36.57 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business management, Logistics Management, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
  2. 6 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's degree.
  3. 8 years of experience is required with an applicable associate degree.
  4. 10 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree.
  5. Experience must be consistent with the specific requirements of project coordination/control and progressively more technical in nature.
  6. Must be capable of applying a diversified knowledge of principles and practices in assigned technical areas.
  7. Experience should include coordination support for project efforts including timeline tracking throughout project lifecycle.
  8. 3 years of relevant work experience in administrative/project support functions for engineering or other technical fields.
  9. 3 years of experience storing, manipulating, and organizing large numbers of files and folders using Microsoft Windows networks or other document management programs.
  10. 2 years of experience using SharePoint sufficient to edit and maintain site.
  11. Working knowledge of automated data systems.
